Celebrating Two Major Award Nominations
Bensons Panels is delighted to share that our commitment to manufacturing excellence and sustainability has been recognised with two separate award nominations this season.
Firstly, we have been shortlisted for the Manufacturing Excellence Award at the 2025 Family Business Community Awards. This honour recognises our six-decade journey as a family business, our history of early technology adoption, and the systems and processes that drive quality and effectiveness across everything we do. Key achievements highlighted by our nomination include the implementation of an ERP system, the launch of our apprenticeship scheme, and the continuous training of our workforce in lean manufacturing and Kaizen techniques —all fundamental to delivering outstanding solutions for our diverse customer base.

In parallel, Bensons Panels was proud to be nominated for the Make UK Energy and Sustainability award for Yorkshire and the North East. This nomination is a reflection of our ongoing investment in low-carbon initiatives and sustainable practices, including adopting electric vehicles, installing solar PV arrays, and publishing our company’s carbon footprint. As a business, these steps help us shape a more sustainable future for our team, our customers, and the wider community.

Both nominations celebrate the passion, expertise, and teamwork that drive Bensons Panels forward. We are grateful for the recognition of our work and proud of the team for their contributions in making Bensons a standout family business and responsible manufacturer. Thank you to our partners, customers, and staff for your continued support.
