Welcoming Richard Crowther – Our New Principal Engineer

We are delighted to introduce a new member of the team at Bensons, Richard Crowther, who will succeed Martin Holmes as our Principal Engineer when Martin retires in March 2026.

Richard joined us in October with a wealth of engineering and management experience gained across multiple sectors, making him an ideal fit with the company.

Initially, Richard is working alongside Martin as part of a phased handover, before ultimately taking full ownership of the team. This will provide a seamless handover as we seek to continuously develop and improve our technical capabilities and the solutions that we can deliver to our customers.

On joining Bensons, Richard commented, “I am excited to join a well-established, but ambitious, company such as Bensons and look forward to working with our many customers and the team to support our collective success”

We are excited to welcome him to our growing team.
