In the latest updates from our dynamic team, we're thrilled to share the significant achievements of three exceptional individuals who have been integral to our organisation's growth and success.
Ben's Landmark Achievement
Ben embarked on a professional journey and has recently achieved a significant milestone by successfully passing his exams and completing his End-Point Assessment and becoming a fully-fledged wirer. Ben's accomplishment marks a momentous occasion, as he stands as the inaugural 'graduate' within our apprenticeship program.
This success not only signifies Ben's personal growth but also highlights the effectiveness of our apprenticeship scheme in nurturing and developing exceptional talents within our organisation.
Tom's Dual Commitment and Awaited Milestone
Since joining our team in 2020, Tom is currently on the edge of anticipation as he awaits the results of his End Point Assessment interviews—a pivotal step in his final examination. Despite the suspense, Tom remains actively engaged in contributing to our projects. Balancing academic pursuits with a hands-on role as a panel wirer, Tom showcases not only his technical proficiency but also his ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
As we eagerly await the outcome of his assessment, Tom's contributions to both academic and practical aspects demonstrate his growth into a well-rounded professional.
Dan's progress update
Dan, a valued member who joined us in April, has completed a dedicated 5-month training block at AMRC. Now back with us four days a week, with one day reserved for further training. The goal of our apprenticeship scheme is to develop multi-skilled engineers who can excel anywhere in the manufacturing team.
Consequently, Dan has been spending time working in different teams, learning the skills associated with the assembly of control panels before moving onto learning to wire increasingly complex panels.
We celebrate Ben, Tom, and Dan for their outstanding achievements and contributions to our projects. Their success stories exemplify the commitment to growth and excellence that defines our team. As we applaud their accomplishments, we eagerly anticipate the continued success of our apprentices as they progress in their professional journeys.

Next Gen Makers – Excellent Employer
We are proud to say that at the conclusion of this process, Bensons has been awarded the Engineering Apprenticeship Excellent Employer Kitemark Accreditation. This accreditation is given to a select number of Engineering and Manufacturing businesses in the UK.
