Strengthening our Talent Pipeline for the Future with Apprenticeships
Creating careers in engineering and manufacturing to address the skills-gap
2023 marks our third intake of apprentices. We are delighted to welcome Dan to the team to gain a few weeks experience in the business prior to embarking on the first phase of his training at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in April.
Dan will work towards a Level 3 Engineering Fitter qualification of the coming three years. As with most apprenticeships, this will be a blend of classroom and workplace training and development that will ultimately equip Dan with the skills to create a career in engineering and manufacturing.
Commenting on the on-going apprenticeship scheme at Bensons, Director Matthew Barton says “As both a skills-based business, and vocal proponent of apprenticeships, it is vital that Bensons walks the walk and invests in strengthening our team for the future whilst at the same time working to address the UK skills gap. We look forward to supporting Dan in creating a successful career with Bensons”.
