The Solution

Effective communication & co-ordination

Whilst the design for the panels actually existed, Bensons were able to make design
improvements, which would improve both the functionality and the performance of the
completed panels.
Working in partnership with EECO2 – Bensons ensured that EECO2 had the best outcome
and, looking to the future, they advised EECO2 on some possible amends to the
design that would help with cost reductions going forward.

Once the panels were manufactured – Bensons were also able to
provide guidance and support on the functional testing which
is critical to the optimal efficiency of the solution.
Having delivered the panels to site, Bensons did not stop
there. They worked on site with the client to carry out
modifications to the panels as required following on from
the test results. These often required to be carried out at
short notice, but this was not a problem for Bensons –
keen to make sure the client was happy at all phases of
the project.

As this was a ‘first of its kind’ project, Bensons maintained
‘as commissioned’ drawings, so that there was an accurate
blueprint to follow for the next time.

The Result
Effective design and performance for a unique project, within

tight timescales

The tight deadlines were kept to – ensuring that the installation and
commissioning activities could also be carried out in a timely manner.
The key to this was the design modifications made by Bensons that
allowed the project to stay within the tight timeframe.

The clean room system was handed over to the client ready for use,
with absolute confidence in the design and performance of the
control panels.
